Frequently Asked Questions:
What is SETSS?
SETSS (Special Education Teacher Support Services) provides individualized academic instruction for students with IESPs. Services focus on strengthening reading, writing, and math skills while supporting students in meeting their educational goals. Instruction is tailored to each child’s learning profile to promote both academic growth and confidence.
How do I know if my child qualifies for services?
Students typically qualify through an Individualized Education Services Program (IESP) developed by the Committee on Special Education (CSE). If you are unsure whether your child qualifies or need help understanding your child’s IESP, our team can review your documentation and guide you through the next steps.
How do we get started?
Getting started is simple. Submit a service request or contact our office to share your concerns and your child’s IESP or evaluation, if they have one. We review the documentation, match your child with an appropriate provider, and coordinate scheduling to begin services as efficiently as possible.
