What is SETSS?
SETSS (Special Education Teacher Support Services) provides individualized academic instruction for students with IEPs. Services focus on strengthening reading, writing, and math skills while supporting students in meeting their educational goals. Instruction is tailored to each child’s learning profile to promote both academic growth and confidence.
How do we get started?
Getting started is simple. Submit a service request or contact our office to share your concerns and your child’s IEP or evaluation, if they have one. We review the documentation, match your child with an appropriate provider, and coordinate scheduling to begin services as efficiently as possible.
How do I know if my child qualifies for services?
Students typically qualify through an Individualized Education Services Program (IESP) developed by the Committee on Special Education (CSE). If you are unsure whether your child qualifies or need help understanding your child’s IESP, our team can review your documentation and guide you through the next steps.
Do you work with students in private schools?
Yes. We support students in private school settings only, in accordance with their IESP mandates and DOE guidelines.
What ages do you serve?
We provide services for students in grades K–12. Our providers tailor instruction based on each student’s individual needs and grade-level expectations.
How are sessions delivered?
Services may be provided in school, after school, or in approved settings depending on the student’s IEP and family preferences. We work to ensure services are delivered consistently and effectively.
What are Related Services?
We provide Related Services that include, Speech and Language, Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Para-professionals.
Are your providers certified?
Our providers are experienced professionals familiar with DOE standards and special education practices. All services are delivered by qualified staff aligned with IEP requirements.
